Since 1956, The NorthWestern Skating Club, formerly York Figure Skating Club, has been providing Learn to Skate, Figure Skating, and Power Skating programs to the community.  The club operates out of Lambton arena (see 'Contact Us' page for map).  Our programs are designed to take a child from learn-to-skate right through competitive figure skating or power skating.  We are a non-profit organization and a member of Skate Canada.  We aspire to the highest professional standards and safety.  With the exception of our professional coaching staff, all positions are filled by volunteers.  NorthWestern Skating Club works in co-operation with Skate Canada to bring the best skating “experience” to you.  Our goal is to have fun while learning new skills in a great Canadian sport.

FUNDRAISING:

The Northwestern Skating Club depends on fundraising events to supplement costs. All parents are expected to work with their children in raising funds for the club. You will be notified of any events that we will be planning.
